In the middle of myriad choices
We make in our lives,
God says,
"I am the Lord your God,"
and decrees
how we can live
meaningful and productive lives.
We respond
by keeping God's commandments
and returning the love of the
One who pursues us.

Call to worship

Leader: All creation sings God's glory, speaks God's praise!
People: The majesty of mountains stills all words;
vast wilderness makes clear our desperate need for God.
Leader: Do we see? Do we know?
People: God's wisdom gives us life, enlightens our way.
God's commandments are refreshing and delightful.
Leader: God invites us, as beloved creatures,
to know and love and be enlivened by God's ways
.
All: Come, let us worship the God of wisdom and love.

Prayers and Praises

VMBM: Dolores Beiler has begun to experiment with a "meals on wheels" program in Jamaica by taking one meal a week to some of
the very poorest or shut-ins. She first took a meal to two blind ladies who live with their almost deaf mother/grandmother. The one who cooks for the three had the flu and was especially grateful for the generosity Dolores showed.

Mennonite Mission Network: Pray for the mid-Texas churches as they plan for their retreat March 28-30. The retreat will focus on the missional church and be led by Mennonite Mission Network's minister of peace and justice, Leo Hartshorn.

Pray for Love Inc. as they continue to rebuild their services to those in need in the community after a challenging fall and winter. Listen to God to see how we can be part of these efforts.

Let us not cease to pray for Peace; let us pray for safety and wisdom for all those involved in the Iraq war.
