The Fifth Annual Hymn Sing for Peace in Washington, DC will take place this year on May 3, 2003. We will meet and sing on the Reflecting Pool steps, in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Prayers and PraisesVMBM: More than 30 women from the 4 Mennonite
congregations Mennonite Mission Network: Pray for the widespread
impact that participants in DOOR (Discovering Opportunities for Outreach
and Reflection) make through short-term mission programs in urban centers.
Ask for God's guidance for Jeff Delp, director of DOOR Atlanta, as he
heads a new DOOR program in that city. Pray for Love Inc. as they continue to rebuild their services to those in need in the community after a challenging fall and winter. Listen to God to see how we can be part of these efforts. Let us not cease to pray for Peace; let us pray for safety and wisdom for all those involved in the Iraq war.
