Gathering in Christ's name

We are looking forward to a good time of fun, fellowship and worship this coming weekend at church retreat. Please remember there will be no worship service at the church on June 1.

We welcome Sara and Ronald Dunnivan who have been worshiping with us the past weeks.

An Italian Night at Harrisonburg Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall on Friday, June 6. Come and enjoy a delicious Italian meal at 6:00 p.m. Contributions will go towards the remaining ministry expenses of the Darrell Zook family. At 7:30 p.m., VMBM will celebrate the ministry of Darrell, Gwen, and family in Toritto, Italy, through stories and pictures.

Prayers and Praises

VMBM: The believers in Bari, Italy, have finally signed a contract for a rented facility for their church building. Jason and Donna Martin and the others on the church planting team have many dreams for their new building. Jason writes, ". . . we are so content because it really does offer us many possibilities to serve God here in Bari. Thank you for praying along with us."

Mennonite Mission Network: Pray for the entire Mennonite Voluntary Service USA team as staff and volunteers gather in Missouri for their annual retreat from May 26 to 30.

Pray for Love Inc. as they continue to rebuild their services to those in need in the community after a challenging fall and winter. Listen to God to see how we can be part of these efforts.

Let us pray for peace with justice where there is war, violence and oppression.
