Come and enjoy a pancake breakfast on December 7 at the church. Strengthened by fellowship and pancakes we will continue the day working together at the church: fixing, cleaning, whatever is needed. Everybody welcome! Look for further announcements regarding details.

A membership class is forming. Please contact Roy Hange if you are interested in becoming a member of the church or learning more about the Mennonite Church. We will be reviewing the video series "Turning Toward Jesus" and read "A Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective". This class will meet on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour.

Prayers and Praises

VMBM: A large group of young people is attending the new church plant at Maranatha School for the Deaf in Jamaica. Many of them have not been involved in a Christian church, and are coming to the worship service at Maranatha simply to see what is happening. Pray for the young Jamaican leaders who are ministering to the people in this community called the Ridge District.

Mennonite Mission Network: Pray for DEO (Discipleship, Encounter and Outreach), a new training program for young adults. Following training in Wichita, Kan., team members, Katrina Diener, Andy Hoffman, Jessica Johns and Jenna Nickel, are working with urban churches in Denver, Colo., reaching out to Hispanic neighborhoods, to children and teens, and at a medical clinic.

Mission associates work in Africa and Asia with Community Health Evangelists, an approach integrating evangelism, discipleship, preventive health care education and community development.

Rudy and Sharon Dirks (Botswana) praise God for One (O-nay) Tabengwa, new coordinator at Tshepong Counselling Network, who brings years of experience in Christian AIDS work.
