Paintings by MACON (Maria Consuelo Vargas de Speiss, a Mennonite artist from Vienna, Austria) capturing the feelings and emotions of the emigrant/immigrant will be on display in EMU's Hartzler Library on August 31-October 3. An artist's reception and gallery talk will be held 2:30-4 p.m. on Aug. 31. Prayers and PraisesVMBM: When Marcia Lehman and other believers sing together in Marcia's home in Bari, Italy, a neighbor sits on her balcony to enjoy the music. The neighbor recently asked Marcia if she could come over to Marcia's house sometime to listen. Pray that God will touch this woman's life through the songs of praise and worship that she hears. and Nancy Frey request prayer that God's spirit will prompt many new students
to attend BBI this fall.
