O LORD, who may abide in your tent?
Who may dwell on your holy hill?

Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right,
and speak the truth from their heart

Thank you all for your help with the funnel cakes this year. It has been an unusually eventful week and we are grateful that everything worked out. Thank you for setting up, cleaning up, setting up again, cleaning up again and selling funnel cakes.

This fall, beginning next Sunday we will begin a sermon series on reconciliation. As part of this we will celebrate communion next Sunday, September 7.

Prayers and Praises

VMBM: Karen Brunk's flexible schedule allowed her to spend two days at the Santa Cruz Infirmary in Jamaica doing fingernail and toenail care. While she soaked, cleaned, clipped, and massaged their hands and feet, she reminded them of Jesus' love for them. Although the task was unpleasant, Karen was rewarded by the patients' smiles and expressions of gratitude.

Mennonite Mission Network: Pray for Mission Network mission associates David and Liz Driver and their two daughters who are settling into Szeged, Hungary, where Liz will be teaching at the International Institute for Christian Studies. Pray for God's guidance as they relocate and begin a new assignment.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Foodbank and the Salvation Army.
